Overall Comment
Last report before heading home.
Weather has continued with rain most evenings. Pollution has dramatically improved compared to last 6 months. Tourists on the ground but to me seem less than what I had seen November 2023.
The impression I have is of a Patpong gogo bar scene far more reminiscent of 90’s-00’s period & prefer it not to be spoiled in the way Soi Cowboy & Nana have been. A bus load of Chinese or Indians would be very bad for Patpong vibe. Particularly the security measures Nana employ which may seem reasonable at first glance are out of step with how things normally run in Bangkok. Another gripe is both Nana & Soi Cowboy have wanker tourists such as Indians, Chinese & bogan wanker dude bros. The shits & giggle couples don’t add much in my opinion.
I understand people want to buy lady drinks & Nana seem to push this business model, hence shut down of short time rooms within Nana which I don’t believe it is anything other than a business decision. But when you are sitting there paying a hugely inflated price for a beer & the best product is off the stage hidden somewhere in the seating areas then I question the value the bar offers.
Also note that in Patpong Kings Castle 2 has only just opened since last Friday, according to the Thai dude I spoke to on Saturday night. At this point I would say Kings Castle 2 has by far the best young attractive girls in Bangkok but this may only be a promotional startup phase.
I noted your point about two best earning bars in Nana as Red Dragon & Billboard. I frequent Rainbow 5 & Red Dragon usually each night & in my opinion Rainbow 5 has more customers. In terms of girls it is too hard to pick as you would need a spreadsheet & the girl crews change about from night to night.

Batfinks wings of steel failed to hold back the wicked wanton wenches & turned out to be paper mâché sold to me by the Patpong market stall – titanium coated huh. Or maybe too many beers. Bought 1 ladydrink which triggered “what about me” from a long time “friend”. Shit, shit, shit. Worse still the Apex Predator from Geisha aka Miss Kryptonite has smelt my scent+ladydrink.

Comment: few bar fines headed out the door & top up seem to come in from Kings Castle 1. Odd position of support pilon in middle of stage which restricts view somewhat but I guess a compromise with existing building. Heaven help the punters if this crew learn to be wicked wonton wenches.
